MRS. MINNIE HAGEDORN

Wilhelmina Marie Emma Hagedorn, 79, of Manning died Sunday afternoon, November 24, 1974, at the Manning Plaza nursing home, where she resided for the last four years.

Rites will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church here, with the Rev. Don Griffin officiating. Interment will be in the Manning Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home here after 3p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Hagedorn, daughter of Otto and Sophia (Schmahl) Passick, was born in Clinton county April 17, 1895, and attended rural school. In 1908 she moved with her family to a farm near the Five Mile House. She married Otto Hagedorn in 1912 and they farmed until retiring and moving to Manning in 1946. Following his death in 1969, she lived with a daughter, Lucille, until entering the nursing home.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Leona) Beerman of Dow City and Mrs. Harold (Lucille) Hodne of Perry: 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Hagedorn in death besides her husband were a son, Roy; three grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers.
