MRS. WILHELMINE KUHN
Mrs. Wilhelmine Kuhn, 78, of Manning died unexpectedly about 1 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 1971, at the Manning Plaza nursing home.

Rites will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church here, with the Rev. Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery; pallbearers will be nephews. The Ohde Funeral Home of Manning is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kuhn was born in Iowa Township, Crawford County, on June 26, 1893, and was a daughter of Willie and Marie Simon. She attended school in Manning and was married here to Ernest Kuhn on November 20, 1918. They farmed southwest of Manning until moving into Manning in 1946. Since her husband's death, December 29, 1968, Mrs. Kuhn had resided at the Plaza. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and for many years belonged to the church's Dorcas Society.

Survivors include six children: Robert of Moville; Mrs. John (Helen) Weible, Mrs. Melvin (Marjorie) Kusel and Arthur of Manning; Mrs. William (Ruth) Metcalf of Midland, Michigan; and Orrin of West Union; also 17 grandchildren. seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Karl Rohr of Manning and five sisters; Mrs. Jessie Kuhl and Mrs. Alma Pahde of Manning, Mrs. Martha Fieseler of Iowa City, Mrs. Helen Schultz of Lytton and Mrs. Lucia Lund of Dow City.

Mrs. Kuhn was preceded in death by a grandson, a brother and four sisters, in addition to her husband.
