W.T. Hennessy Dead.
W.T. Hennessy who for seventeen years was a resident of this county and most of that time right here in Warren Township, died at his late home at Laurens, Iowa, on June 27th and was brought back to Templeton where his wife was buried in 1884, that he might, be laid by her side. The old man had been ailing for some time but not considered dangerous until the last few days of his illness when heart failure set in and soon ended his life.

Mr. Hennessy was a good kind man and was well liked by everyone.

William T. Hennessy was born December 12, 1843, at LaShelle, Illinois. He was married to Miss Ellen Hurley in 1874 and moved to Templeton in 1883. Mrs. Hennessy died in 1884. Three children were born to them of which all are living. He was a member of the Sacred Heart church at Templeton and the funeral was officiated by Rev. B.A. Shulte of that place. The bereaved, have the sympathy of this community in their sad affliction.

We take this means through the columns of the Monitor to extend our sincere thanks to the friends who so kindly assisted us in the burial of our dear father.
Thomas Hennessy, George Hennessy, Julia Hennessy.
