F. Kauth 1927-1928

Walter Friedrich 1921-1922

Elmer Fritz taught 1922-23; Edwin Berner, 1923-24; Oscar Berlin was called in 1925, a candidate from River Forest; Miss Harnck taught 1926-27; Frank Kauth, later a pastor at Paducah, Ky., in 1927-28; student Breehne, 1929-30; student Schmidt, 1930-31.

School was not opened in the fall of 1931, by congregational resolution. School money, fifty cents per month each for the first and second child (third child free at times), double for non-members, subscriptions, and help from Synod put many a child on benches hand-wrought and on benches cash-bought in the school. There they studied reading, writing, arithmetic and religion; geography built on the religious background of creation; history on that of God's guidance over the events of nations for the building of His Kingdom. Since then the members of this congregation have not enjoyed the privileges of a Christian Day-School as the agent whereby the children can be brought up in the environment and Christian training offered by a parochial school."
