Harvest Festival

This was a special occasion for praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God combined with Christian fellowship and rejoicing as a response for the many blessings of the year.

My family and I have many fond memories of the rural life at Trinity; gardening, raising animals (Douglas had a champion pig in 4-H at the fair), winter sledding, etc. We all enjoyed the change of seasons of the year as it enhanced the beautiful setting of your picturesque church, other buildings and grounds.

We rejoice with the members of Trinity as you celebrate the Centennial Anniversary of your church, an organized congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, in which the Word of God has been preached and the Holy Sacraments have been administered in your area.

All of us as a family join you in asking God to continue to bless you and your work as you go forward in His Kingdom of Grace and Love.
In His Holy Name and Service

Congratulations to Trinity from AAL

In November of 1927, a Branch of Aid Association for Lutherans was organized with members belonging to Trinity Congregation. Records of minutes being recorded were found in 1929. Three members were present, namely Rev. and Mrs. Nieting and Harry Raebel. Dues were 30c a member from 1927 to 1930; then reduced to 25c until 1941 when dropped. From then on dues were "on again", "off again" intermittently until finally terminated.
