Rev. J.P. Guenther of Boone, came to Trinity in September 1906. In 1908 this church received a considerable amount of renovation. It was painted white with lavender trim and a door was built to close the stairs leading to the bell tower. Pastor Guenther accepted a call to Remsen, Iowa, and the congregation released him on December 8, 1912, but requested he remain until early 1913.
Rev. E.J.W. Starck came to serve Trinity shortly before Easter in 1913. On that Easter Sunday, March 23, 1913, in the evening about seven o'clock, a tornado completely destroyed the edifice erected in 1901.
