After the tornado -- March 23, 1913

The building and contents were a total loss. On March 30, 1913, in just one week, the congregation resolved to build a new church on the old foundation according to the plans and specifications of the former church. A few changes were made, namely: to excavate a part of the area under the church to provide space for installation of a furnace, to slope the floor, to build a ladder within and without to the tower. Cleaning away the debris began immediately, and excavation began June 4th. Dedication services were held the same year on October 26.

Lamps furnished the lights for the church up to 1920. A light plant and fixtures were purchased for $1129.00 in 1920-21.
The motor and batteries were rebuilt in 1935 for $175.00
