I looked for Woodward in the 1912 History of Carroll county book and found none.

I also checked the Carroll county cemetery list and there are apparently no Woodwards buried in any of the cemeteries --- or at least none that are listed under that family name.

I'm discussing the idea with the funeral home owner about getting the records they have placed on the Internet.
I haven't seen what they have and don't know how far back the records go but it would be interesting to get those records put online.

Another project, which would be monumental, would be to get the past Manning Monitor papers put on the Internet --- at least the first page and the obituaries, weddings etc.
I've been discussing this idea with several people on how to tackle such a job.
Time will tell.
