I am researching my great-uncle Dr. Andrew Resner who received his M.D. from the University of Iowa in 1895, and practiced in Manning until 1910. Dr. Resner then moved to the Ronan, MT area where he lived for the rest of his life. In a 1930 biography of him I found a reference to a trip he took to Posen, Prussia in 1906. According to that biography, the main purpose of that trip was for the Dr. to attend a dedication of a memorial to his Great-grandfather Resner. The trip may well have been a newsworthy item in Manning in 1906, and I am curious if any newspaper accounts of the trip may exist. I would certainly appreciate any information concerning Dr. Resner. Thank you.
