Hi, I am seeking information and family of my gr gr grandparents George Passig and Catherine Trader from Holstein Germany.
George Passig was born May 23 1844 in Ditmarshen, Holstein Germany and died Aug 21 1927 in Marceline Missouri in the United States. He was married to Katherine Trader. she was born on May 1 1866 in Germany. and died in Marceline Missouri. Their children are Herman Paul Passig, Edward PAssig, Mary Passig, Henry Passig and John Passig. Edward and Henry Passig came to
the United states as the story goes about late 1870's when Edward was 15 and Henry was 13 they worked for 8 years as indentured servants to save the money to bring their parents and brothers and sisters to the United States.
Edward Passig was married 2 times his first wife and my great grandmother was reportedly and Indian woman .Edward had 2 children by this marriage.
His first born was Minnie Passig and then a son named William Willie" Passig....Minnie is my grandmother. Other then meerting Marilyn and Sharon
I have never met any of my grandmothers family. Edward married a second and had another family. They did not raise my gramma and Willie. In the 1900 census I found them living with a family named Tillotson. Minnie was 7 and Willie was 3. I have as yet been unable to find out who my gr grandmother is.
