My name is Dan, I am married to Barb Genzen, Larry's daughter.
I was excited to see your attached web page of your restaurant. We would love to visit some day. I only wish I could understand more of it. I will have to see if Florence can help me translate some of the menu items.
I do not know if you have heard of me, but I am also in the restaurant business. Barb, our children, and I recently moved back to Manning, Iowa. I have been hired to layout, design, and run a new German-American restaurant they are building to compliment the Haus Barn. The restaurant will seat approximately 170 people, with a tavern that will seat 40 people and a conference/banquet area that will seat 350 people. We anticipate it opening late summer of 2002. Maybe as I work on the menu, you would be willing to give me some input on some of the German entrees?
