Sorry I took so long to answer your post. I think my line of Bolte came from around Bueckeburg. I have not been able to find out where and when they immigrated to this country, but it must have been around 1800. I think they came to Clinton, Iowa and then to Manning. There seems to be several families that came to Iowa, as I have found several references to Bolte. My line ended up in Wheatland, Wyoming.
