The place to start is at the Carroll Court house.
I hope to spend some time in all 4 county court houses this winter to see what I can find for information on the Manning area veterans.
From my understanding --- if the veteran did not bring in their discharge information to the court houses then there will be no record there.

If you have an obituary and military picture of Peter and could send me some information about his family and anything more you could add to Herman would help me greatly.
