Hinrich Wilhelm Frank probably became Henry Frank after his arrival in New York 1869.He passed away before 1880.His widow
was living with their daughter Pauline Simon by then in Crawford County.
I suppose that the whole family has been living in Clinton County before coming to Crawford County or Carroll County.Wil-
lie Simon was born 1869 in Grand Mound,Clinton County.His cousin Henry Simon was buried on Evergreen Cemetery near Grand
Mound.His uncle and aunt were in the 1880 Census in Grand Mound.I even found an interesting notice in the 1870 Census In-
dex of Clinton County: Anna Frane,Elisabeth Frane and William Frane are listed.Maybe it should be Frank.Actually the names
are matching with the family who emigrated from Germany.
Willie Simon's brother Freddie was born in the year 1876 and he died in 1888 but I don't know where.
