My great granfather was John Munsterman. He moved to Manning, IA in either April or May of 1905. He brought his wife Mary and their two young girls, Daisy and Frances. He was going into the hotel business there. In September of 1905 he had a heart attack and died in Carroll, Ia. The story in the family is that the two young girls were placed in a home in Manning for orphans to be put up for adoptions. I am looking for information concerning that home for orphans so that I can learn about Daisy Munsterman. I would also like to learn which hotel her dad, John was going to run.
