Hi David -
My wife's great-great grandfather, Jurgen Wunderlich, emigrated to Manning from Germany and had a daughter named Anna 12/12/1862-9/3/1948) that married Herman Kusel (8/2/1861- 6/15/1905) on 10/24/1884.
I see from your website (what a kick to look around sites like this!) that you have Peters listed as a related surname. Jurgen Wunderlich's second wife was Johanna Katie Peters so I was wondering if you all might have any more information on Jurgen Wunderlich and/or his wife Johanna.
I have been in touch with a relative, Jon Ahrendsen, of Jurgen's third wife, Agneta Thede but haven't found anyone that knows a lot about the Peters marriage.
Besides trying to find out what more I can about Jurgen and his family, I'd really like to find out a lil' more about Jurgen's FIRST wife, since my wife's family actually descends from the one child, Jurgen Jr., that came from this marriage. All we know is that her maiden name was apparently Dose.
Would you possibly have any info on the Wunderlick/Peter's marriage or the Wunderlick/Dose marriage and their family lines? or know anyone I might contact that would?
