I just read your email, Dave, and this is the line I am looking for. Paula, your dates and names match up and add to what I have found for this Nelson line.
Frederick F. Nelson and Jane Nelson had a son, Fred Peter Nelson, b. Oct. 31, 1889 (WWI draft record shows Oct. 27, 1891). He married Louise Zimmerman, b. Jan. 18, 1884 in Creston, Iowa. I have a possible marriage date of 1925. Fred died Aug 31, 1955 at the Sawtelle Veterans Administration Hospital in Los Angeles, Ca. He is buried in the Los Angeles National Cemetery there, row D, grave 8, section 223. He was U.S. Army, PVT. Co. B, 23rd, ENGRS.
They had a son, b. 1926 in CA., still living, who is my grandson's grandfather.
