Manning School Concession, Restroom, and Storage Project

Over the years, the Manning Booster Club has provided our sports programs with equipment purchases, has sponsored events for athletes, and has supported many sports projects for our facilities. We take pride in our Booster Club memberships that represent all levels of longtime civic, school and community supporters. Manning can boast one of the strongest athletic programs in the area because of those who are dedicated and committed to "giving back" to our school and community.

As a graduate or supporter of this school district, you understand the benefits of extra-curricular activities. The Booster Club feels there is a need to help sustain the quality and safety of our sports facilities for these activities. The Manning Booster Club has been directed by the school board to oversee the construction of a new concession, restroom and storage building (CRS project) at Forman Field as the current facilities are in disrepair.

The 25’x 80’ building is estimated to cost $70,000, with $22,000 designated in the school foundation account at this time. This project was kicked off with a $5,000 Booster Club donation and a generous gift from the Mike Rohe family. The Booster Club is currently seeking funds for this project, as the school board will approve construction when the required finances have been obtained

The Booster Club and CRS committee are working in conjunction to raise the additional funds required to complete this project by the fall of 2008. We invite you to support the CRS campaign or volunteer in any way with this project. A recognition wall will be constructed at the site, and donations of four different levels will be acknowledged with an engraved plaque. Each level will have a football theme, as follows: "First Down", with a donation of $100 – 249, "Extra Point" $250 – 499, "Field Goal" $500 – 999 and "Touch Down" $1000 and up. Although recognition will start at $100, donations of any amount are welcomed and greatly appreciated.
