A note from Verna White----
I've been thinking -- there would be no church building or history if not for the spirit of the people. How can we also show the spirit of the people? Perhaps a memory wall in the basement, pictures, memory letters, or scrapbook on display. Just suggestions.
A CD might also be a great way for all of us to cherish those memories.

My sister Leola (David) Kanning and I grew up in the shadow of the church. Our farm home place has been totally erased and now the church which was the main focus of the area is being moved -- it's a heartfelt thing.
The landscape has been changed forever.

I remember dad (Emil David) rang the church bell since I was a little girl. He tolled the bell for member's funerals - a toll for each year of their life.

My dad climbed the spire twice to repaint the gold cross at the top.

Mother and dad were baptized, confirmed, and married in our church. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary there. So many great memories and many, many more.

A note from Dave Kusel ----
There are plans to have a Trinity museum in the basement of Trinity.
If you have memorabilia and pictures you want to donate please send me an e-mail.
If you would like your pictures back but would be willing to send them to me to scan and then return to you please send me an e-mail.
I would also like to use some of these pictures on the Trinity web page.

Verna's idea about recording memories and then having them in a "memory book" in the museum is a great idea and has already been discussed.
If you have memories that you would like to share with everyone please e-mail them to me.

You can use this e-mail address Trinity
You can also mail your memories and pictures to -
