Funeral services for Andrew C. Jensen, 63, Manning, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Irwin. Mr. Jensen died unexpectedly at his home one and a half miles south of Botna Saturday noon, July 30, 1960. He had been in poor health for several years.

The body is resting at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. The Rev. Lief Manson will officiate at the funeral. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Jensen was born May 4, 1897 at Defiance. He was the son of Peter C. and Stine (Gregerson) Jensen. He was educated in Defiance schools and fought in the first World War.

On May 11, 1921, he married Gertie Wigg at Irwin and moved to a farm near Manilla. He moved to his present farm nearly eleven years ago. He was a member of the American Legion of Irwin and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, there.

His parents, two brothers in infancy, and a brother, Elmer, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Eileen) Stoelk of Manning, Iowa; and Mrs. Wayne (Beatrice) Snyder of Kimballton, Iowa; six grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jacob (Mary) Johnson of Denison, Iowa; Mrs. Marshall (Clara) Knudson of Sanborn, Minnesota; Mrs. Howard (Frieda) Henry of Alexandria, Minnesota; Cris Jensen of Osakis, Minnesota; Mrs. Ivan (Ethel) Scott of Missouri Valley, Iowa; and Mrs. Sam (Edna) Smith of Audubon, Iowa.

Funeral services for Andrew C. Jensen, 63, Botna farmer, were held Tuesday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Irwin, with burial in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Jensen died suddenly at his home Saturday, July 30, 1960. He had been in failing health for some time.

He was born near Defiance, May 4, 1897, son of Peter and Stine (Gregerson) Jensen, and farmed all his life. He served in World War I.

He is survived by his widow Gertie; two daughters, Eileen (Mrs. Merle) Stoelk, Manning; Beatrice (Mrs. Wayne) Snyder, Kimballton; six grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers.
