Mick Addison, 82, died at home August, 24, 2013. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Lanesboro United Methodist Church. Reverend Sue Thomas officiating. Burial in the Lanesboro Cemetery with full military rites by the Lake City American Legion Post # 31 and V.F.W Post # 1899. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.

Mick was born on October 21, 1930, at Manning, Iowa to Fern and Meta (Christensen) Addison. He was with the former Manning High School of 1949. Mick served in the United States Army from 1949 to 1952. On December 21, 1951, he married Patricia Best at Glidden, Iowa. Mick was self-employed as a piano technician. Mick enjoyed music, fishing, hunting and motorcycle riding.

Mick is survived by his wife, Pat, sons; Bruce Addison and friend Cathie of Lanesboro, Brian and Rhonda Addison of Lanesboro, Brad and Kelly Addison of Lanesboro, 7 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 14 great-grandchildren, brother Larry (Kathy) Addison of Monroe, Missouri, brother Clark Addison and friend Ann Marie of Colorado and sister Wanda (Don) Mathisen of Crescent, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fern and Meta and 3 brothers, Bill, Gene, and Bobby.
