CLARENCE M. CARROLL

Funeral services for Clarence M. Carroll, who died Friday, February 11, 1977, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 1977, at the Ohde Funeral Home here with the Rev. Louis Miller, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers were members of the Manning American Legion and VFW posts.

Mr. Carroll, son of John W. and Ida Carroll, was born December 4, 1900, at Rodney, Iowa. He died in Manning General Hospital following a brief illness.

He was united in marriage September 23, 1926, to Ann Hlaeky, who died in January of 1959. They had one son, Calvin.

Mr. Carroll was an electrician and lived most of his life in Yankton, South Dakota. He was a lover of music and had a hobby of making violins.

He is survived by his son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren of Des Moines and two brothers and two sisters living in California. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and two brothers and two sisters.
