Hears of Death of Elroy G. Bennett at San Bernardino, California
Mrs. Kathryn Eden has received word of the death of her nephew Elroy G. Bennett, February 22, 1949, at San Bernardino, California. Mr. Bennett lived in Manning with Mrs. Eden for two years following the death of his mother, Mrs. Abbie Bennett, in 1911. He and his wife have resided for a number of years in San Bernardino. Mr. Bennett had been ill for some time.

Funeral services were held in San Bernardino Friday morning, February 25.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife and a daughter, Kathryn (Bennett) Sweeney, of Omaha, who flew to California with her husband.

Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Reinholdt, formerly of Manning, also attended the services.

Mrs. Eden visited the Bennetts several years ago when she attended the postmasters' convention in San Francisco.
