Earl P. Jentsch, born March 19, 1892, at Westside, lived at Manning the greater part of his life.
He was a member of Master Barbers Association.

He was a past member of Manual Lodge No. 450 of which he was an active member for 26 years, and a member of Eastern Star.
He was active in community affairs and served during WWI.
Earl was injured in a fall November 11, 1948, and passed away Friday, December 3 of pulmonary embolism.
Services were held at Ohde Funeral Home Tuesday, December 7 by Rev. Brown Garlock.
Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. Graveside services by Masonic Lodge No. 450, conducted by Clifford M. Johnson.
Pallbearers: Clifford Johnson, Gerald Johnson, Henry E. Meyers, Herbert Frahm, John J. Schroeder, and William Vollstedt.
