Epherham LeRoy Meisel
Epherham LeRoy Meisel, 91, of Indianola, a retired farmer, died of a stroke Tuesday, March 18, 1986, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Overton Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Indianola, Iowa.

Mr. Meisel was born in Carroll County, near Manning, Iowa, September 25, 1894, to Benjamin and Ola (William) Meisel, and had farmed in Warren and Marion Counties.

He was a Veteran of World War I.

Survivors include two sons, Earl of Colfax and Carl of Indianola; a sister, Ola Ress of Manning; a step-sister, Gretchen Maschmeyer of Encino, California, six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
