GEORGE PUCK
Funeral rites for George Puck 74, were held on Monday, February 8, 1965, at the Ohde Funeral Home here, with the, Rev. Carl G. Sinning of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Ray Pratt was soloist, Bonita Hagedorn, organist.

Military graveside rites were conducted by Emil Ewoldt Post No. 22, American Legion. Legionnaires were also pallbearers. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Son of William and Margaretha (Joens) Puck, he was born February 27, 1890, three miles north of Manning. He farmed with his parents and later with his brothers. He was a WW I veteran.

In 1960, following the death of his brother, Peter, he moved, into Manning and lived with his sister, Ella Puck.

He fell last week, while assisting with farm work, and was taken to St. Anthony hospital, Carroll, where he died Thursday morning, February 4.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Peter and Bernard, and a sister, Laura. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Ella; Mrs. Minnie Claussen; William; Mrs. Ralph (Frieda) Berkheimer; Harry; Maggie, all of Manning; Albert A. Puck, Denison; Mrs. Henry (Alvina) Ewoldt; Albert Puck, Manilla, and Edward Puck, Hamlin.


George Puck is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
