Howard Jens Andersen

Howard "Andy" Jens Andersen, 84, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away April 15, 2017. He was born in Ewoldt Township, Iowa on July 6, 1932. Howard graduated from Manning High School in Manning, Iowa.

After serving in the U.S. Navy, he was honorably discharged on September 5, 1951. Andy had a successful career in sales with Myers Cox, HJ. Heinz Co., and Dr. Scholl's. He had a passion for bird watching, sports, and current events; he loved animals, especially his cat Roy.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Mae Andersen, of 63 years; children, David Andersen, Susan Allen, and John Andersen; grandchildren, Benjamin David Allen and Taylor Elise Hames; and sister, Mary Liedtke.

Funeral Services will be held at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill Chapel on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1:00PM.
