Henry Ferdinand Mohr
Henry was a Private in the U.S. Army from 1915 to 1920. He served in France during WWI.

Rites Saturday For Henry Mohr

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ohde Funeral home for Henry Mohr, 57, who died at his home in Manning Wednesday night, April 18, 1951. The Rev. Harlan Kruse, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate.

Mr. Mohr, a veteran of World War I, will be buried with military honors in the Manning Cemetery. The military service will be concluded by the ceremonial team of Emil Ewoldt Post 22, American Legion.

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav and Helena (Goettsch) Mohr, both deceased.

Mr. Mohr was a lifelong resident of Manning, where he was born November 26, 1893. He had been a trucker and had also assisted on his father's farm.

He was married at Manning in February 1922, to Lillian Dethlefs, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Wade; four daughters, Mrs. John Whited (Marjorie), and Mrs. Roy Whited (Marilyn), Denison; Mrs. Wayne Schroeder (Lila), and Mrs. Orville Hinze (Iva), Manning; nine grandchildren; one brother, John Mohr, Manning; and one sister, Mrs. Herman Lage (Laura), Manning.

Mr. Mohr had been in ill health for some time. He had returned home from St. Anthony Hospital, Carroll, about nine days before his death.
