Funeral Services on Monday for F. Koeppen
Frank Koeppen, son of Frank Koeppen, Sr., was born on a farm near Manning, Iowa, January 13, 1888, the oldest son of a family of one sister and two brothers.

He passed away Saturday, January 11, 1958, at the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 28 days, after an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 13, in the Methodist Church in Long Pine with Rev. Clarence Davis in charge. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Scotia, Nebraska.

At an early age, Mr. Koeppen became a member of the Methodist Church and took an active part in church activities. At the age of 25, he came west and settled at Winner, South Dakota.

On October 1917, he joined the service and saw duty in France until the close of World War I and received his honorable discharge April 12, 1918.

On March 12, 1921, he was united in marriage to Ella Swan of Wood, South Dakota. She preceded him in death on May 20, 1954.

He leaves to mourn his passing, one sister, Mrs. Rose Rundquist of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
