LeRoy & Margaret Hansen
LeRoy Alfred Hansen, of Bellingham, Washington, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009. He was 86 years old. LeRoy was born in Crawford County, Iowa, the youngest of 12 children of John F. and Mary (Lorenzen) Hansen.
LeRoy was raised on his family farm and continued to love gardening, especially his fruit trees and berry bushes. He was a good and loving husband, a hard worker, and a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
LeRoy will be greatly missed by Margaret (Lake), his wife of 65 years; his brother-and-sister-in-laws George Lake, Dorothy (Vernon) Larsen, and Eustace (Jo) Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in LeRoy's honor on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at 11:30 AM at Moles Greenacres Chapel, Northwest Dr. & Axton Rd., Ferndale, Washington. A reception will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church.
