RUDOLPH E. MALONE

Rudolph Emmett Malone, 57, died unexpectedly at his home, 1014 Boylan Avenue, Carroll, at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 1971. He had been a resident of Carroll and an employee of Deluxe Cleaners and Launderers for the last 17 years.

Rites are pending at the Dahn-Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Mr. Malone, son of Emmett and Ada (Willys) Malone, was born at Charter Oak on August 3, 1913, and came to Carroll from Denison. His marriage to Milda Otto took place November 19, 1953, at Sac City. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Maurice Dunn Post No. 7, American Legion.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Aldea (Betty) Argotsinger of Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Fred (Janet) Case, San Jose, California; Jean, Los Gatos, California; and Barbara, at home; also six grandchildren; two brothers, Ora Malone of Kansas City, Missouri, and Wayne Malone of Dow City; and a sister, Mrs. Bill (Elizabeth) Solberg of Denison. Another sister died in infancy.

Funeral services for Rudolph Emmett Malone, 57, of Carroll will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church here, with the Rev. Timothy Koenig officiating.

Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery, with military honors by Maurice Dunn Post No. 7, American Legion.

Friends may call at the Dahn & Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. The casket will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Saturday; the family prayer service will be at 10:45 a.m.

Mr. Malone died unexpectedly at his home at 1014 Boylan Avenue Wednesday night, May 19.

Funeral services for Rudolph Emmett Malone, 57, who died at his home in Carroll May 19, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church here.

The Rev. Timothy Koenig officiated. Paul Abbe sang "Put Your Hand in the Hand" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus", accompanied by the organist, Sherry Grade. Pallbearers were nephews, Wayne Malone Jr., Merlin Otto, Allen Otto, Duane Otto, Daryl Dammann, and Kenneth Malone.

Burial was in the Manning Cemetery at Manning, where military honors were accorded by Emil Ewoldt Post of the American Legion of Manning.

The Dahn-Woodhouse Funeral Home of Carroll was in charge of arrangements.
