HERMAN MOLLER

Funeral services were to be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, for Herman Henry Moller, 68, who was found dead in his home here Monday night, July 20, 1959.

Death, which was ascribed to natural causes, is believed to have occurred Saturday evening, July 18, 1959.

The Rev. Lester Moore of the Manning Methodist Church was to officiate at the funeral service and graveside rites in the Manning Cemetery. Ray Pratt was the soloist. Pallbearers were Emil Kuhl, Herman Grau, Clifford Nelson, Julius Vinke, William Dillingham, and William Wiese.

Mr. Moller was born in Ewoldt Township January 30, 1891, to Hans and Helena (Kruse) Moller. At the age of 32 he moved to Omaha where he was married to Grace Hulsebus. In 1934, the family moved to the Okoboji area but returned to Omaha in 1942. In 1956, he retired at Norfolk, Nebraska, where he made his home until the last two years when he has lived in Manning.

He is a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Howard (Shirley) Strong, and Mrs. Don (Phyllis) Painter, both of Norfolk, Nebraska: five granddaughters; three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Lage, Redlands, California; Mrs. Henrietta Petersen, Clinton; and Mrs. Anna "Katie" Sander, Elk Horn; and one brother C. John Moller of Okoboji.
