Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church here for Louie Ossenkop, 58, of Manning, who died at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha Thursday night. Pastor George Eschenbacher will officiate. Burial will be in the Hayes Township Cemetery in Crawford County. The body is at the Ohde Funeral Home.

Mr. Ossenkop, half-brother of Mrs. Freda Thielking of Carroll, suffered a stroke at the railway station in Omaha as he was about to return to Manning. He was taken to the Veterans Hospital, where his death occurred.

Born in Hayes Township, Crawford County, October 19, 1897, he had spent most of his life in Manning, although he had worked for the Illinois Central Railroad in Sioux City for some time.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Ossenkop was married to Mrs. Irene Driscoll in Sioux City November 2, 1943.

Survivors include his wife, a half-brother, Walter, Manning: two half-sisters, Carolyn Ossenkop, Clarinda, and Mrs. Thielking, Carroll: and two stepdaughters, Dorothy Driscoll, Pasadena, California; and Mrs. Carl (Helen) Weisenbach, Mapleton.

His parents and two half-sisters are deceased.
