Phillip Michael Enenbach, son of Eileen Enenbach, was born August 27, 1937, in Austin, Minnesota. He moved with his mother to Manning where they lived with his grandparents, Mark and Anna Enenbach. He attended schools in Manning and graduated in 1955.
On August 3, 1960, Phil was united in marriage with Aloha Waterbury at Sacred Heart Church in Manning. After their marriage he entered the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge in 1962, Phil returned to Manning where he worked for the Manning Creamery Company. Then, for many years, he worked for L.E. Meyers Electrical Construction. Later in life he worked in maintenance at the Manning General Hospital and Plaza.
Phil was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish in Manning, Knights of Columbus, and the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Phil's health began to fail in February of 1995. On June 14, 1996, he became a resident of the Carroll Manor Nursing Home, Carroll, where he died on Saturday, June 29, 1996, at the age of 58 years, 8 months, and 2 days.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his wife, Aloha; four children: Michael and his wife, Jill, of Manning; Valerie, of Des Moines; Vince, of Manning; and Nicole, of Audubon; four grandchildren; Jeff, Josh, Laura, and Katie. Other relatives and friends.
