John B. Peter, 76, former Manning resident, was born June 20, 1889 and died Friday, November 19, 1965, in Omaha. The body will be taken Sunday to the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, where the rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Sunday. The requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Manning, with burial in the parish cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters: Maryanne Walker, Pearl Farley, Joann Askevics; a son, Joseph "Joe Boy Peters" Peter; two brothers and two sisters.
