Roy Cole
Roy Cole and family, Manning residents for the past 15 years, plan to make their future home in Slater, Iowa. Mr. Cole purchased a barber shop in that place last week and plans to begin work there Tuesday. He has followed his trade as barber during his residence here.

Mr. and Mrs. Cole have been active in the civic and social affairs of Manning. Mr. Cole is a member of the Manning board of education, adjutant of the local legion post and a member of its championship drum and bugle corps. He has filled various offices in the Legion and is a past commander of that organization. He also served Manning as park commissioner for five years. Mrs. Cole is chaplain of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Their two children, Wayne and Bonnie, are members of the school band and orchestra. Mrs. Cole's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Granseth live in Slater. Mrs. Cole will remain in Manning until July 1. Their going will be a loss to Manning.
