Manning Monitor:
Dear Sirs:
I have been receiving the Monitor quite regularly lately, and I wish to take this opportunity to thank you and the Legion for making it possible for us to receive the home paper. I know I get a lot of enjoyment out of reading the news from home--- fact is, I read it through from front to back, even the Want Ads.

I also want to take this means to say Hello to all my friends back there and am looking forward to the day when we can meet again in person.
There isn't any news from here so I will close.
I remain, as always,
Sgt. Robert F. Kuhn
