John Roggendorf
John Peter Roggendorf, 67, former Manning resident, died Tuesday night, June 16, 1964, at Denison, where he had lived for the past few years.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, with the Rev. Lester L. Moore, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial, with military rites, will be in Hayes Township Cemetery.

Mr. Roggendorf was born near Aspinwall on March 9, 1897, a son of Peter C. and Margaretha (Heesch) Roggendorf. He worked at the Glenwood State School, and farmed near Manning for a number of years before moving to Denison.

He was married to Anne Andresen in 1922.

Surviving are a son, Melvin J. Roggendorf, Anaheim, California; a daughter, Peggy, Des Moines; several grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. George Dethlefs, and Mrs. Alfred Lage, both of Manning.
