Nazi helmet found in the old Orlo Schelldorf building along Main Street by Max Detlefsen.
Origins unknown - could be a Schelldorf relative who served during WWII gave it to Orlo.
Another possibility is that the Kelsey family, who was good friends gave it to Orlo.
Ray Kelsey serving in both WWI & WWII.

Max Detlefsen, employee of the Manning Municipal Light Company, has resigned his position, effective December. He has purchased the Schelldorf Electric Shop from Orlo Schelldorf, who has been in business in Manning for many years, first in a drug store, then in the electric shop. Mr. and Mrs. Schelldorf plan to make their future home in California.
