WHEELER H. KEMPF

Wheeler Henry Kempf, 77, died unexpectedly at his home here Monday afternoon, April 25, 1966.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Ohde Funeral Home at Manning, with the Rev. Carl G. Sinning officiating. Burial will be in Manning Cemetery, where military honors will be given by the V.F.W. and American Legion posts.

Mr. Kempf was born June 11, 1888, at Audubon, a son of Charles and Maria (Wokofin) Kempf. He attended school at Audubon, and during World War I, served overseas.

On February 15, 1920, he was married to Eleanor Jentsch of Manning; and they made their home in Manning. Mrs. Kempf died January 22, 1962.

He is survived by a son, Paul Kempf, and a daughter, Mrs. Amos (Eunice) Lohmeier, both of Manning; and one grandson. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
