Harry A. Werder, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Werder, enlisted in the Army during World War I and was a musician in the 32nd
Regiment Band. During the war he served in Hawaii, Kentucky, California, and Washington D.C.
He remained active in the Reserves and was discharged with the rank of Major.

Burial was in South Lawn Memorial Park in Tucson.
Mr. Werder died in Lake Worth, Florida, March 8, 1959, following a heart attack.
He is survived by his widow, Gertrude (Mattingly) Werder.
Harry was born February 11, 1893, to August and Anna (Wittrock) Werder.
