Ray Edgar Wiseman of 130 South Jefferson in Loveland, died Thursday June 8, 1967, in the Loveland Memorial Hospital following several months of ill health.

He was born at Manning, Iowa, February 22, 1894, son of Franklin and Susan (Halford) Wiseman. On October 7, 1933, he married Edith Hudson at Pueblo. They lived in Pueblo until 1940 when they moved to Denver. In May of 1949 they moved to Loveland.

Mr. Wiseman retired in 1960 from the Public Service Co. where he had been a superintendent of maintenance. He had been employed by the company 35 years.

During World War I, Mr. Wiseman served with the U.S. Army. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 41 of Loveland, past district commander and past state commander of the VFW. He was also a member of American Legion Post No. 15 of Loveland; BPOE No. 90 of Pueblo, Orient Lodge No. 51 AF and AM of Topeka, Kansas, and the Rocky Mountain Consistory of Denver.

Besides his widow he is survived by one brother, Fred P. Wiseman of Casa Grande, Arizona, and several nephews.

The Sangre de Cristo Chapter of Rose Croix will conduct the funeral Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Hunter's Garden Chapel. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado, with military honors conferred by the Lafayette VFW Post.
