A lunch will be served in the fellowship hall of the church following the committal services. All friends and relatives are invited.
Rites will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church here, with burial in the Manning Cemetery. Pastor Edward Heinicke will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Henry Sonksen, Clausie Strosahl, Frank Handlos, Alvin Hansen, Robert Tank, and Alfred Ahrendsen.
Mr. Hagedorn was born March 13, 1914, in Washington Township, a son of Louis and Bertha (Joachimsen) Hagedorn. He attended rural schools near his home. On April 27, 1955, he was married to Norma Jean Hass. They farmed on the home farm until moving to their present location three years ago.
He is survived by his wife and two children, Lois, 8, and Larry, 4; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Mundt, Manning; two brothers, Lorn and Lewis Hagedorn, Manning; three sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Alberta) Grimm, Manning; Mrs. Lottie (Delores) Otto and Mrs. Elmer (Myrtle) Otto, Manilla; a step-brother, Henry Mundt, Manning; and a step-sister, Mrs. Edna Goundie of Texas.
His father died January 21, 1922; and his step-father, Henry Mundt, on January 26, 1964.
