Dora Kortum
Mrs. Dora (Kirchhoff) Kortum, aged 89, of 602 Naylor SW, and widow of the late Fred Kortum, passed away early Saturday morning, November 24, 1973, at the Grand Valley Nursing Center, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Daughter of Detlef and Mary (Hanson) Kirchhoff, she was born March 29, 1884.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Stern of Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Mrs. Roy (Margaret) Gebert of St. Paul, Minnesota, one son, Fred Kortum of Walnut Creek, California, one sister, Mrs. Pauline Gateley of Miami, Florida, and one brother, Edward Kirchhoff of Maquoketa, Iowa; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kortum reposes at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 1311 Chicago Drive SW, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m.

The burial will be in the Manning, Iowa, Cemetery.

Members of the family will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service by DeVries-Kuiper-DeGraaf.
