A native of Clinton, Mr. Boock farmed most of his life in Scott County. He moved to Wheatland 16 years ago. He married Lillian Derner in Manning, Iowa, in 1906. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son, Leroy Boock, Wheatland; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Anna Harty, Clinton.

Private funeral services were held in the Chapman Funeral Home in Wheatland at 1:30 p.m. February 10, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport.
Mr. Boock was born May 16, 1882, in Clinton, the son of August and Mary (Sievers) Boock. He was married to Lillian Derner of Manning in 1906. They farmed in South Dakota, in the Manning area, and in Clinton and Scott Counties until they retired and moved to Wheatland in 1951. Mrs. Boock died in 1962, after which he made his home with his son, LeRoy, of Wheatland.
Surviving is his son, a sister, Mrs. George (Anna) Harty,
Clinton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he
was preceded in death by one brother.
