Leigh H. Bingham, 92, died February 28, 1988, in a nursing home in Topeka, where he lived.
He was born in Manning, Iowa, September 6, 1895, to George Hawthorne and Fannie E. (Pattison) Bingham, and had lived in Topeka since 1923.
Mr. Bingham was an agent for the American Home Life Insurance Company and was a vice president of the Postal Savings & Loan Company, both in Topeka, until he retired. Survivors include his wife, Stella Bingham of the home; a daughter, Virjean Hutton, Kansas City; and a grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel, Topeka; entombment in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum, Topeka. Friends may call Wednesday at the Penwell-Gabel Chapel, Topeka.
The family suggests contributions to charity.

Leigh H. Bingham, 92, Topeka, died Sunday, February 28, 1988, at a Topeka Convalescent Center.
Mr. Bingham was a representative of American Home Life Insurance Company, of Topeka more than 50 years and a former vice president and director of Postal Savings and Loan for 50 years.
She was born September 6, 1895, at Manning, Iowa, the son of George H. and Fannie E. (Pattison) Bingham. He lived in Topeka since 1926.
He was married to Stella Eyre March 7, 1923, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Virjean Burton, Kansas City, Missouri; and a grandson.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Mount Hope Chapel. Entombment will be in Mount Hope Mausoleum. Mr. Bingham will lie in state until noon Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. The casket will remain closed. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
