Funeral services for Mrs. Earl (Matilda) Frank, 63, of Hopkins, Minnesota, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 27 at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning with the Rev. Steve Persa of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lincoln Township.
Audubon County, officiating. Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Irwin under the direction of Ohde Funeral Home of Manning. She died Friday, September 24, 1976, at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
Pallbearers were Bruce E. Mackey, Lloyd Hoemberg, Gene Borkowski, Vernon Borkowski, Gary Borkowski, and Duane, Deist.
Mrs. Frank was born to Carl and Elizabeth (Ketelsen) Borkowski on November 29, 1912, in Lincoln Township, Audubon County. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. She attended the rural schools near her home, Trinity parochial school, and graduated from Manning High School in 1930. Her marriage to Earl Frank took place on September 9, 1939. After farming near Manning, they moved to Minnesota in 1952 where they continued to farm until moving to Hopkins, Minnesota, about 3 years ago.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Gaillard Frank of Pomona, California; Charles Frank of Devils Lake, North Dakota; Ron Frank of St. Louis, Missouri; two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Loyce) Mackey of Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Lloyd (Kay) Hoemberg of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Borkowski of Manning and Ferd Borkowski of Manilla; two sisters, Mrs. Felix Hagedorn of Ward, South Dakota; and Mrs. Art (Elsie) Deist of Audubon.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Joan, her parents, one sister and one brother.
