NORMAN E. ARP

Norman Edward Arp, 46, of Manning, branch manager of Wells Dairy, died shortly before midnight Friday, March 21, 1975, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, where he was admitted earlier in the evening.

Mass of the resurrection was celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Church here by the Rev. Norbert Weber. M.S.C. Pallbearers were David Grundmeier, Hugo Dammann, Melvin Jackson, Merlin Hass, Lyle Joens, and Dean Elberts.

Burial was in the parish cemetery, under direction of the Ohde Funeral Home of Manning.

Mr. Arp was born at Manning December 25, 1928, a son of Henry and Catherine (Passick) Arp. Following his graduation from Manning High School in 1946, he worked for the Manning Creamery Company until it was sold in 1971 to the Wells Dairy of Le Mars.

On October 18, 1949, he was married to Jean Henkelman at St Ann's Church in Vail. He was a member of the Manning Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, four children: Mrs. Raymond (Norma) Hagedorn of Carroll and Danny, Cathy, and Marc at home; a sister, Mrs. Joe (Marian) Knueven of Manning; and a brother, Lyle O. Arp of Manning.

Mr. Arp was preceded in death by his parents.
