OTTO J. LAMPRECHT
Otto John Lamprecht, son of William and Minnie (Buls) Lamprecht, was born in the vicinity of Bloomfield on May 28, 1897. His childhood was spent on the farm, under the guidance of Christian parents, who provided the blessed privilege of Baptism and Confirmation in St. Mark's Church.

On January 12, 1921, he was married to Ella Jensen at Aspinwall, Iowa, and they continued to make their home farming in this community, and rearing a family of four children, three boys and one girl.

In 1949, he retired from the farm and made his home in Bloomfield. For many years he had been handicapped and ailing which hastened his death at a comparatively early age.

He was called from this Earth on December 28, 1952, while being taken to a Sioux City hospital, at the age of 55 years, 7 months, and 2 days.

Surviving his death are his wife, Ella; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Lamprecht; four children, Mrs. Alton N. Anderson of Randolph, Melvin and William J. of Wausa, and LaVerne at home.

Surviving are also two sisters, Marie (Mrs. Martin) Reiners and Alvina (Mrs. William) Volquardsen, and three brothers, William, Jr., Theodore, and Harry, all of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Lamprecht were conducted on Friday, January 2, at the Anderson Funeral Home and St. Mark's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. H.G. Knaub officiating. Burial was in the Bloomfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joe Peitzmeier, Herman Bruhn, William Hagge, Louis McFarlane, Melvin Joachimsen, and Adolph Gieselman.
