Mrs. Abel Welch of 513 Lane G, Good Samaritan Village, died Monday, August 1, 1977, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska.

A native of Manning, Iowa, born August 13, 1895, she was a member of the Manning United Methodist Church. She moved to Hastings 20 years ago.

She married Benjamin Marting Welch June 2, 1913, in Carroll County, Iowa.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mack (Dorothy) McCullough of Grand Island; three sons, Roland of Kearney, Merlin of Athens, Greece, and Orrin of Bossier City, Louisiana; and 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in All Saints Chapel at Good Samaritan Village with the Rev. Martin G. Braum officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery, Manning, Iowa.

Memorials may be directed to All Saints Chapel.
